I've done several gigs since the year 2003, mainly by myself (solo) but also with different musicians. I have supported artists like Kauko Röyhkä, Jarkko Martikainen, Laura Sippola, Sansa, Pelle Miljoona and Ville Leinonen. Or I don't know if you should speak about supporting - I don't know if it matters. As an other job I got a bachelor degree from the School of Art and Media. It has employed me mainly as a journalist in newspapers called: Tamperelainen, Lapin Kansa, Kymen Sanomat and Kotiseudun Sanomat, but I've done several other jobs as well like working in library, restaurants etc... My first band was called Woozy. It was founded when I was 15 years old with my good friend Kati Salo who is nowadays a singer/songwriter. I have written hundrets of songs and lyrics even more. Year 2004 I made my first officional demo (after the demo we made with Woozy) called Minuuden Morsian (included 5 songs). I have only one copy left. Then year 2005 I wanted to record more of my songs and I asked around if there were musicians interested making music with me. Heikki Malmberg from Diablo and Dame offered to play with me. That is how my demo Oma-EP (included 3 songs: Puhua sinun kanssa, Cooke city& Hyvää huomenta) was born. Mikko Pykäri from Regina recorded and mixed the CD. Then summer 2005 I asked Ville Leinonen (finnish artist) if he could produce my music. He agreed and we made a single called Huuma (included two songs: Hän on luonasi & Huuma) together in collaboration with Sami Sänpäkkilä. After that I have made music mainly by myself. Year 2008 I produced my first album called: As long as the movement goes on. The music media like Rumba, Soundi, www.desibeli.net and www.noise.fi have payed attension for my work as a poet/songwriter in a positive way. Also other newspapers like Pohjolan Sanomat, Lapin Kansa, Torniolainen and Tamperelainen have written about me. (c) LOUNA - MUSIC |
